Cline Mining president and chief executive was upbeat about the arrangement.
“The company has fully engaged The Capital Lab to provide the company with a comprehensive solution for its communications and investor relations process and activities,” he said.
“We are fully engaged in this initiative and committed to supporting and improving all aspects of the investor relations function.”
The news follows a statement from the miner last month that it was suing the province of British Columbia for expropriation of coal tenements estimated to exceed $C500 million in value.
Cline also recently announced that it had named a new chief operating officer and deputy chief operating officer for its newly revitalized New Elk Coal subsidiary.
Cline Mining is a mine development and coal exploration company with significant metallurgical coal property interests in British Columbia and Colorado.
The Capital Lab is a Toronto-based adviser which supports public and pre-public companies with capital markets strategy, investor relations and corporate communications.
