ALAN Thom has been made a non-executive director of Kentucky-focused coal player Attila Resources.
Thom, a mining engineer, has worked in the UK, Africa, New Zealand, Bangladesh and Australia across numerous metals and coals.
He has managed projects from exploration to feasibility studies through to development and operation.
Attila is working to move to the next stage of its vision to become a premium hard coking coal producer from its 70%-owned Kodiak coking coal project in Shelby County, Alabama.
