Worst month since May 2012

AHEAD of the Labor Day long weekend, Wall Street investors traded cautiously in a thin session. As the S&P 500 index recorded its steepest monthly decline since May 2012, coal stocks dropped, with only heavyweights TECO and Consol posting tiny gains. Juniors Puda and Liberty took the biggest hits, down 33.3% and 20% respectively.
