Austech Instruments is a leading Australian manufacturer of fire and gas systems with over 22 years of research and development capabilities. In recent times, Austech has grown into international markets particularly Korea and South East Asia.

In the mining market Cable Management Australia (CMA) offers around the clock cable repair and termination services and cable management programs. CMA are also specialists in the area of cable sales, providing cabling with the necessary plug fittings for service upon delivery.

CMA is located in Moranbah, Queensland which will provide a base for Ampcontrol to expand their service offering into the central coalfields area of the Bowen Basin.

Dr Alan Broadfoot, chief executive officer of Ampcontrol said: “It is exciting times for the Ampcontrol Group of companies. Our recent acquisitions complement the markets Ampcontrol operate in. Both Austech and CMA will strengthen Ampcontrol’s customer focused approach and R&D expertise which helps to ensure new product developments continue to meet customer needs and expectations at all times”
