In support of the expanded product line, RUD has appointed Keith Godfrey as product specialist – mining.

In making the announcement, RUD’s managing director, Peter Nuttall (Jnr) said Godfrey brought a wealth of practical knowledge and extensive experience in the industry gained in both Australia and South Africa.

“The addition of Keith Godfrey to the RUD Australia team meant that as well has having a complete product range, RUD now has the in-house resources to offer full in-field product support to the local longwall industry – including technical advice, site inspections, condition monitoring and reporting,” Nuttall said.

“RUD’s customers can also be confident that in dealing with our company, they are dealing with a quality manufacturer that has direct factory support, underpinned by wide ranging international expertise – focussed wholly on this niche market sector.”

More detailed news on the company's product expansion will be published in the June 2003 edition of Australia's Longwalls, to be released this week.
