“This product is very easy to install as it simply replaces a conventional return roller. It is suitable for all belt widths and effective in reducing the amount of cleaning time caused by conveyor carry back,” said managing director of Kinder & Co, Neil Kinder.
“Ideally, the spiral rollers most suitable installation position is over a discharge chute or a collection hopper.”
Described as especially effective in conveyor systems handling sticky, abrasive or wet materials, K-Spiral roller comprises a standard return roller fitted with wear resistant polyurethane rings that form a spiral configuration.
It is this configuration that creates the cleaning action as works to the centre of the belt at the same time assisting belt tracking. The unit is not powered as it is driven by the belt surface contact.
