The Ohio-headquartered company said this week that the renaming followed the opening of its stocking and operations and center in Germany.
Ladd, an exclusive authorized US distributor of Deutsch electrical connectors, serves the US and Canada as well as Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
It also is eyeing China and Japan for more growth in the near future, though officials did not provide a timeline for those efforts.
Based in Kettering, Ladd provides its electrical components, including the Deutsch line of connectors for critical applications, to the engine market as well as off-highway, trucking, marine and agriculture.
