Eickhoff
Eickhoff designs and manufactures shearer loaders in four different models for a range of cutting heights from 5.3 feet to 23ft. Eickhoff says its shearers offer the most range and power, strongest gearing and innovative automation.
“Also, our continuous miners with unique hydraulic traction drive have a mining range of 4.9ft to 14.7ft,” the company says. “Eickhoff CMs with newly advanced hydrostatic transmission provide easy overload protection, less shock on gearboxes and less electrical issues, all with a lower cost investment and overall lower maintenance.”
Flexco
Flexco will be addressing splicing, cleaning, tracking, belt slippage, and material transfer needs with two booths at Minexpo.
There will be a conveyor serviceability competition, in which Flexco maintenance teams will race against each other to demonstrate quick and safe belt conveyor maintenance with Flexco products.
New products on show include the Pneumatic Single Rivet Driver, which is claimed to speed installation of SR fasteners by up to 33%, the EZ series of impact and slider beds, which reportedly improves performance in the load zone, and the latest in the line of innovative Mineline belt cleaners for serviceability and wear resistance in the toughest applications.
“Both Flexco booths will be staffed by product experts eager to answer questions and demo products,” the company says.
Hauhinco
With decades of expertise in water hydraulics, Hauhinco designs and manufactures high-pressure pump systems and water spray systems for longwall operators. “We offer worldwide service and support,” the company says.
Huesker
Huesker’s fire-retardant Minegrid has been used for longwall recoveries, rib and roof support and highwall reinforcement. “Minegrid continues to help mines and quarries to operate safely, improve production, and increase profits,” the company says.
Huesker Fornit is a high-strength biaxial grid that is used for base and sub-base reinforcement.
Huesker says Fornit helps to strengthen haul roads and travelways in underground and surface operations to minimize maintenance and to prolong road life.
JADCO
JADCO Manufacturing will display its QT-Plus, Chromeweld 600, Hardguard, Razor Tuff, and brand-new Tru-Tuff products at its Minexpo booth.
“QT-Plus is a super-tough, premium-quality wear steel with up to 10 times the wear life of conventional mild steel,” the company says. “CW600 is a heavy-duty chromium-carbide wear steel that stands up to the toughest, most demanding abrasion wear conditions.”
“Hardguard wear blocks are for the harshest, most abrasive operating conditions. Razor Tuff is a razor-thin wear steel that delivers exceptional wear protection and superior abrasion resistance, in even the tightest-fit application areas.
“Recently introduced Tru-Tuff hardened pins, shafts, and bushings provide outstanding wear protection, especially in the most abrasive operating conditions.”
J H Fletcher
At Minexpo, Fletcher will showcase four machines. The CHDDR, designed for coal mines, is said to exhibit advanced material handling, with rib access booms and a walk-thru chassis.
“The CDDR, another coal roof bolter, displays both low profile rib access booms and air curtain technology,” the company says. “Furthermore, the CDDR allows angle (or vertical drilling) in lower seams.
“Fletcher will be staffed with salesmen and engineers ready to provide information on available equipment and custom options. We also encourage guests to visit our hospitality room.”
