Pittsburgh gas detection manufacturer, Draeger has released a new gas detector, the Multiwarn II.
Features include a built-in sampling pump and Infrared Sensor Technology to measure combustible gases. The sensor technology can measure combustible gases and carbon dioxide and is impervious to poisoning agents that effect catalytic sensors.
The sensor is capable of measuring hydrocarbons in the ppm range, which allows it to be used for leak detection, monitoring exposures, or additional protection in confined space entry. The sensor is also equipped with remote sampling probes allowing the drawing of samples from 100 feet.
