United States-based Flexible Steel Lacing Company (Flexco), the world’s largest manufacturer of mechanical belt fasteners and accessories for conveyor and power transmission equipment, will introduce various new products at MINExpo next month.

The company has introduced a new conveyor belt pre-cleaner called Eliminator H-type which strips away carryback residue at the head pulley. This keeps more material in the product stream and reduces clean-up elsewhere.

The company said the cleaner automatically created uniform blade contact across the belt by keeping each blade segment under constant pressure through a pre-tensioned rubber cushion.

Flexco offers a standard and heavy duty urethane blade for mechanically fastened belts which the company says provides several times the service life of previous urethane tips without compromising cleaning efficiencies.

Flexco has also launched a high-performance conveyor belt trainer, an extension of its Persuader belt positioner range.
