Dixon will introduce a claw-coupling bellows composite seal, a mining hose, and lockable econovalve.
The revolutionary composite bellows seal was created after nearly three years of development involving metallurgists, chemists, industrial designers and mechanical engineers. The seal can operate at both low and high pressure, resulting in substantially improved performance levels.
Dixon says the mining hose is specifically suited to petrochemical, manufacturing, mining and agricultural sector applications, while the econovalve safety lock-out device was developed by Dixon’s inhouse engineering team working with personnel at Rio Tinto’s Kestrel coal mine in central Queensland. Featuring new technology, the valve is said to eliminate replacement costs while increasing safety levels.
Kestrel won an Innovation award at the Health & Safety Conference held in Townsville, Queensland in August. See related article.
