Developed by the NSW Minerals Council, the Minerals Council of Australia and the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy, the campaign shows workers around the country acting out a range of anti-COVID protection measures such as physical distancing during travel and at site, increased hygiene and cleaning, temperature testing, changes to shift start times and working arrangements.

MCA CEO Tania Constable said health and safety was the number one commitment, with the

industry proud to show the rest of the nation what their workforces are doing to keep everyone safe, including local communities, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

NSW Minerals Council CEO Stephen Galilee said the next phase of the community information campaign showed first-hand some of the actions miners were taking each day to protect themselves, their families and their communities from COVID-19 while continuing to make a critical contribution to the economy.
