The mine withdrew all workers from the underground part of the mine in accordance with their trigger action response plan.

“Mine operators must also revise and implement changes to ensure that the trigger event does not reoccur,” it said.

The warning comes as a series of gas related events at NSW mine has lead to prohibition notices leading to production stoppages.
