BHP seeks to appeal Daunia public holiday decision in High Court

BHP is heading to the High Court to appeal a decision by the Full Court of the Federal Court in March that found its Operations Services arm could not require workers to work on public holidays as part of their roster.

 The Federal Court decision covered 85 OS employees who were required to work on Christmas Day and Boxing Day in 2019 at BHP’s Daunia coal mine.
