Winning ads from Future of Mining pitch battle

Listen to those radio ads created to improve mining's image.

The Future of Mining Australia 2019 conference put out a challenge whereby three agencies pitched ideas to mining companies on how to positively impact the image of mining through the use of media and advertising.

Specialist audio agency Eardrum won the battle as judged by Deirdra Tindale (BHP), Ngaire Baker (Mach Energy) and Rohin Simpon (Rio Tinto).

The session closed day one of the conference and created much discussion around how the campaign resonated with young people and addressed topical issues such as attracting talent to the industry.
