That would bring the total to four fleets to expand production at BBM.
"Production ramp-up has been facilitated by additional mining equipment and increased transport infrastructure capacity from the successful development of the coal haul road to the Batu Tuhup Jetty," Cokal said.
"During the June quarter, the BBM mining contractor has operated two fleets of mining equipment,
"An additional two fleets of mining equipment are scheduled to arrive at BBM from August 2023, bringing the total to four fleets, in order to facilitate ongoing production expansion."
Cokal said coal extraction from Seam I & Seam J was ongoing.
The company appointed CBQ as an additional mining contractor to provide mining services and overburden removal in August.
CBQ, established in 2011, has operated in various overburden removal projects in Java and East Kalimantan.
Cokal chairman Domenic Martino said the existing mining services contract with HPU remained in place.
