The Sebuku coal mine in South Kalimantan now boasts 387Mt of resources thanks to the project's northern lease areas acquired by Straits in December.

 

Straits has also defined substantial resources in the shallow waters between Sebuku and Laut islands.

 

The company said exploration drilling would continue throughout the year to further define the resource.

 

The company's Sebuku mine is currently expanding production to 6Mtpa by 2009.
