The junior has been in negotiations with an Indonesian coal producer and recently raised $A1.51 million from an issue of 231 million shares.
In its trading halt request to the Australian Securities Exchange yesterday morning, Kangaroo said that trading would start again no later than June 1.
The company had only just resumed trading on the ASX this week after an eight-month suspension, originally for failing to lodge its annual report for last year.
The junior has a bag of projects scattered throughout Queensland, with the major focus being tin mining.
Kangaroo shares were at 2.6c before entering the halt.
