Australian consultants announce name changes

TWO coal industry consulting companies recently made name changes.

Brisbane-based Australian Mine Consulting Services has changed its name to Minecraft Consulting.

Other recent organisational changes include the addition of mine mechanical engineering services through the appointment of Tony Singleton (principal mechanical engineer) and enhancement of mining engineering services with the appointments of senior mining engineers Kevin Carey and Wayne Sly.

Minecraft said its team now comprises four professionally qualified mining engineers, three with statutory managers certificates, and one professionally qualified mechanical engineer (statutory certified), all with over 15 years mining experience.

Sydney-based AMC Resource Consultants has changed its operating name to MINARCO.

Since 1993, AMC has provided consulting services to a wide range of clients, from mine operators, banks and financial institutions to power utilities and legal firms.

MINARCO’s principals are managing director Graeme Duncan and director Dave Meldrum.
