Thompson’s departure will result in CEO Fritz Henderson, senior vice president Mike Hardesty and CFO Fay West assuming additional responsibilities.

Elswick’s exit means that Hardesty will take over responsibility for the company’s international coke business and performance improvement director and interim general manager at Indiana harbour Dovie Majors will be promoted to domestic coke operations vice president.

Henderson said: “We have a very strong team at SunCoke that remains focused on driving operations excellence and is ready to embrace these important new roles.”
