The longwall recovery mat was supplied by NBW Mining (Australia) and built by Hunter Mining Methods, and will be installed later this year.
The 255m-long roll of Huesker is based on the successful designs by NBW's Nick Wills currently used at many longwalls in Australia.
Radspadskaya purchased the total system, including all accessories needed to complete the installation.
Engineers will travel from Australia to train Russian operators to use the Huesker System.
"We are extremely pleased that the Huesker System will be used in Russia to speed up the recovery process, but more importantly to make it safer for the work force," Wills said.
In addition to Radspadskaya, NBW Mining, in conjunction with Hunter Mining Methods, exports Australian technology to Daw Mill in the United Kingdom, Svea Mine in Spitsbergen, and Matla in South Africa.
