In this role, Lester will work closely with the mining industry in the Gladstone and Rockhampton areas, providing training legislation guidance, industry advice and assistance in the implementation of training management systems.

Lester will work with Rod Ramsay, senior consultant at the Rockhampton Skills Centre, to develop a Rockhampton-based network group for the industry.

This group will offer attendees the opportunity to share news, debate hot topics and discuss training challenges and solutions.

Lester has more than 13 years experience in education and training as well as a background in processing and metalliferous mining.
