The company produced 2.8 million tonnes of raw coal for the July quarter, which was down by 4.5% on the previous corresponding period. Saleable coal production dropped by 3.6% for the quarter to 1.4Mt.
On a full year basis, both raw coal production and saleable coal production exceeded the prior corresponding period.
Sales volumes for the quarter were down on the corresponding period last year. Full year sales volumes were down 9.8% on prior year’s sales, as a result of less traded coal sales being made during the current year.
