Mirisch, who holds more than 20 years of combined technical and sales experience in the industry, will focus on providing local sales and systems support to the area.

“There has been a tremendous push for IS-certified network products in the coal industry. The industry understands the implications digital communications technologies have for safety and productivity,” NLT Australia managing director Tim Haight said.

“Now that we have approvals in place, we are taking steps to ensure we can meet the growing demand for our products and services.”

NLT Australia opened in 2005 to serve the local mining industry and has grown rapidly with a head office in Brisbane and representation in New South Wales, Western Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand.
