A GAS blast in northeast China on Sunday has killed one miner and left three trapped.
The explosion occurred at Fuxin Mining Group’s Liujiali Coal Mine in China’s Liaoning Province early Sunday morning during a safety inspection, official news agency Xinhua reported.
The three men conducting the inspection remain trapped. The one fatality was caused by falling debris, the news agency said.
The mine was licensed and under construction.
