The Company began mine development and partial production in September of 2003 and has continued partial production in only one underground mining section to date.

Consolidated will activate a second production shift in the first of the two mining sections. By the end of next month, management intends to have advanced the mine and supporting infrastructure, trained new personnel and to have implemented a five and a half day work week operating two, eight-hour production shifts per day. This will allow a total production of 1000 tons per day.

The second section of the mine will begin production by the end of the year, with full production estimated to contribute an additional 1000 tons of coal per day.

Consolidated will also construct a coal washing facility, capable of processing all of the coal production from the operation. Site work will begin in early September with completion set by the end of the year.
