Matheson, formerly of BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance, has over 13 years experience within the coal and iron ore industries – in project management, mine operations and business optimisation – in Western Australia and Queensland.
He will operate from the company’s new office in Brisbane and drive the development and continuous improvement of Aquila’s wholly owned and joint venture coal projects in Queensland.
Meyer, formerly of BHP Billiton Coal in South Africa, has 16 years experience in coal exploration throughout Southern Africa. He will be based in the company’s new Johannesburg office and manage the acceleration of Aquila’s coal exploration activities in the Southern African region.
