Sandvik service business line manager Teresa Soanes said streamlining of the company’s internal service capabilities resulted in it being able to offer a “one-stop shop”.

She said it could offer a cost-effective repair and rebuild option, eliminating the need to bring in external subcontractors or buy expensive parts.

“In addition, we offer a full scope of supply, installation and servicing, delivering increased component life backed by a 12-month/2000 hour warranty,” Soanes said.

She said the addition of transmission and converter test benches to Sandvik’s rebuild offering meant a complete range of testing, repairs and rebuilds could be performed.

The company is also an authorised Kessler repairer and a Spicer and Dana service centre so it can perform transmission and converter rebuilds and repairs both on and off site.

To get customers back in action quicker Sandvik can offer service exchange of Kessler, Dana, Clark, Spicer and Allison components.

“We test equipment for full functionality before it is returned to the customer, ensuring productivity remains constant and costs are reduced,” Soanes said.

“We provide detailed and easy to read customer assessment reports prior to starting any rebuild and repair activities, including photographs to explain all necessary repair work.

“Upon completion all rebuilds and repair jobs are followed up by our after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and quality maintenance of equipment.”
