Rio counts cost of Dampier screen house fire

RIO Tinto is still assessing the damage of a fire in a screen house at its East Intercourse Island port operations in Dampier on Saturday night that closed down operations.

A Rio Tinto spokeswoman told Australia's Mining Monthly that emergency services responded to the fire, which started in the port's screen house, and brought it safely under control with no injuries reported....
