Alcoa answers critics

ALCOA Australia has refuted claims by green groups that it plans to expand bauxite mining operations in jarrah forests along Western Australia’s Darling Scarp and clear a further 8700 hectares as part of its latest plans for the Huntly bauxite mine and Pinjarra alumina refinery.
