Thermal coal exports should still thrive despite permitting delays

WHILE public acceptance of thermal coal projects and the length of the permitting process will influence investors' appetite to back large-scale thermal coal projects in Australia, the industry should keep exporting coal to Asia, Accenture Australia energy lead John Pascoe believes.
