Pit to Port.net is an information system that allows mine management to synchronise the operations, logistics, marketing and commercial functions to provide a clear view of export and domestic supply chain operations.
Solid Energy will use Pit to Port.net to manage supply chains from its coal mines, including three underground mines, to ports, steel and power generation plants and for other coal distribution management.
The iFuse system, a specialist data integration system that merges different information systems across mining, business and bulk commodities, will be used by Solid Energy to integrate Pit to Port.net with Maptek's Vulcan 3D mine modelling software as well as several minesite data sources.
