WEATHERFORD International has officially opened a new lab in the Colombian capital of Bogota.
According to various reports since Friday, the 1400 square-metre lab was opened on June 4.
Designed for a 40 to 50-strong workforce, it will provide core and fluid analysis along with specialised services in wellsite geosciences, fraccing, drilling fluids, geochemistry, shale rock properties and elastomer testing for progressive cavity pumps.
