REEDMININGEVENTS, organisers of the event, confirmed mining sector personnel would gain access to more than 150 mining sector suppliers, numerous complimentary education initiatives and several interactive networking opportunities.
Timed for the current transition occurring within the mining industry, from the investment phase to the production phase, REEDMININGEVENTS director Paul Baker said M&E NSW 2014 would provide attendees with the latest products and services that offered solutions for optimising operations, by improving efficiency, enhancing safety, and increasing productivity and cost-effectiveness.
He described the exhibition as being crucial for mining personnel in the Hunter Region, and mining regions throughout the state, due to the wide range of technological solutions on display and various mining community focused networking initiatives.
“As the mining industry continues to transition from the investment phase to production phase, the importance of mining personnel attending an industry event like M&E NSW, to ensure their mining companies are adopting the latest innovative technology, only increases,” he said.
“However, this transition has also renewed the focus of mining companies on achieving greater productivity and improved efficiency, as means of optimising their mine site operations.”
M&E NSW will return to the Newcastle Entertainment Centre from October 8-10, following the exhibition’s move to the venue in 2012.
