In a bid to expand beyond its traditional contracting role, RUS Mining will display a RUS man transporter, featuring the latest Tier 3 electronic engine package and a RUS Trak crawler drill rig fitted with cable bolt insertion.

Also on display will be a SC15/111 shuttle car which is being developed in conjunction with SANY Heavy Equipment.

RUS Mining Services was established in 2010 after a change of ownership and corporate restructure at underground mining services company ResCo Underground Services.

RUS Mining spokesman Ryan Walters said the company was equipped with a strengthened management and ownership team, and had taken a new direction by developing a new range of underground mining equipment and services.

“RUS Mining will be sharing our vision for the future with the launch of these three prototype machines at AIMEX,” Walters said.

AIMEX will be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 6-9.
