The new feature on QR’s Camel website reports a number of loading performance measures, to provide information on how effectively trains are loaded from an operational perspective.
The new loading performance reports are available for every train, shortly after loading has been completed.
Information available includes specific train details, train load level achieved, time taken to load, effective load rate, a breakdown of how effectively wagon bogies were loaded within the train (grouped into different ‘load level’ ranges), and also
an analysis of those bogies that exceeded their target weights.
Also contained in this new feature is a link to a ‘reference library’ where specific bogie overload allowances can be viewed.
This library will be built upon in the near future to contain other relevant loading reference documents.
QR Coal is continuing the development of this reporting feature to also provide monthly summaries of loading performance information. This will enable customers to compare performances, not only from train to train, but also from month to month.
The reports are available through navigating through either the ‘Services Scheduled and Currently Running’ or the ‘ Completed Service’ pages of the Camel website.
