As of August Johnson’s responsibilities have included SES’s hydraulics division, including Queensland operations, Australian Mining Services, electrical maintenance and shearer drums.
Johnson has a mechanical engineering degree, a master of commerce degree, is a chartered professional engineer and a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia. He has a New South Wales mine mechanical engineer’s certificate of competence.
Previous positions held by Johnson at Appin Colliery included shift engineer, project engineer and relief mechanical engineer in charge for Appin and West Cliff Collieries.
Richard Steel will commence working in October with the SES mining division as consultant, specifically for shearer drums and will visit Australia regularly to liaise with customers on product applications.
Owen Kreilis continues to provide consulting services and make available his considerable specialised knowledge to the SES Group.
