Peabody wins mine rescue contest

 

James River Coal Company blue team won second place overall, while Arch Coal's Lone Mountain Processing Team came in third.

 

Hosted by the US Department of Labor and co-sponsored by the National Mining Association, the contest also included conference presentations held over August 30 to September 1.
