The latest drilling results have Bloodwood Creek hosting 218Mt of indicated coal resources when using a seam thickness cut-off of 2m, while inferred resources were 280Mt and 170Mt for Kogan.
The shallowest intersection was at a depth of 142.6m, while the deepest was 393m.
Carbon Energy aims to use underground coal gasification (UCG) as a mining method, which involves remote operation from the surface.
Under the process, oxidising gases injected underground react with the coal, turning it into gas for extraction.
Last month the junior announced it had completed its 100-day UCG trial at Bloodwood Creek and achieved target energy content and flow rates.
Shares in the company are up half a cent this morning to 29c.
