The event, scheduled for October 30 to November 1 of this year, will be held in Beijing, China, and will focus on methane recovery and project prospects. It will be co-sponsored by China’s National Development and Reform Commission.

The sectors Methane to Markets is seeking submissions for include coal mines as well as agriculture, landfills, and gas systems. Deadline for all papers is July 2.

As for the expo itself, the agency said many sides of industry can benefit from the itinerary, including vendors, project developers, legislation and government and global consultants.

“The purpose of the expo is to showcase project opportunities and bring them together with vendors, project developers and financiers,” Methane to Markets spokeswoman Roxanne Smith said earlier this year.

“It will also serve as an opportunity to share case studies as well as to learn about new developments in project financing [and] technologies.”

Smith added that there will be sponsorship opportunities for the expo, including booth/exhibit space.
