In making the announcement, Bob Pritzker, president and chief executive, The Marmon Group said Dickson’s acceptance of the position in mid-October successfully concluded an extensive search both inside and outside The Marmon Group for the best person to lead Long-Airdox.

Dickson joins Long-Airdox from another member company of The Marmon Group, Fontaine International Inc, located in Alabama, where he served as president since 1994. Dickson is credited with leading Fontaine through a difficult period to achieve its current position as one of the top international manufacturers of fifth wheel coupling devices for the heavy-duty truck industry. Prior to that he was president and chief executive officer of Morris Beam & Co. He was also a plant manager for Outboard Marine Corp.
