The newest addition to our secondary support solution is a highly versatile machine allowing bolting to occur in the tightest places, including alongside machines, structures and belts.

It incorporates a dual rotary actuator design which allows roof, rib, floor and face bolting with no operator fuss.

Our Electro-Hydraulic Scorpion boasts a 30kW, 1000v electric motor equating to significant performance and power gains at the coal face.

Alminco’s Electro-Hydraulic Scorpion utilises a Joy Feed Frame and Joy HDR32 Drill Motor.

Drilling speeds of up to 770rpm are achieved with 21kN of feed thrust, meaning the Alminco Electro-Hydraulic Scorpion is installing bolts with the speed and efficiency of a continuous miner – so as well as its intended design for secondary support, the Scorpion can be easily integrated into primary support applications when needed.

Built to MDG guidelines and Australian standards, and utilising operator feedback, our Electro-Hydraulic Scorpion is our most advanced crawler drill rig to date.

Alminco T-REX – 22t of immediate roof support

Alminco T-REX is an unparalleled hydraulic temporary roof support system. With a support capacity of 22 tonne, T-REX is suitable for roof heights of 1.7-3.5m.

Designed to MDG and Australian standards, T-REX utilises easily accessible lock-down storage for two Alminco Gopher Fatboys, and additional storage for drill steels and consumables promoting greater productivity and efficiency.

T-REX is QDS-mounted for quick, efficient attachment to an LHD and is stability approved for operation with 913s, 130/ED7 and ED10 LHDs.

T-REX weighs in at 3.94t and is 3.65m long.

Alminco release an enhanced 1.5T Quickduster

Alminco has built from the ground up an enhanced 1.5T Quickduster with several new and improved features.

Positioned at a great entry price for the market, our enhanced 1.5T Quickduster includes a robust augur feed located in the bottom of the dust hopper to convey dust to the spinners, which are set 2m apart at the outer limits of the machine for the most extensive coverage possible.

In addition, our dust spinner assembly is easily removable and replaceable. All hydraulic hosing and components are located outside of the dust hopper and all hydraulic motors positioned within the frame of the Quickduster for added protection.

Our Alminco Quickduster is available with QDS, RAS or KAT attachment interfaces on request and the entire Quickduster unit can be transported (not operated) via a forklift.

Expect a low clearance height and compact width with ingenious guardings for all mechanical moving parts – ensuring Quickduster is MDG-compliant and in compliance with Australian Standards.

You can view our enhanced Quickduster in person at QME.

QME launch of Alminco Taipan Grout Pump and Mixer

Alminco will be exhibiting at QME our newest addition, the Alminco Taipan Grout Pump and Mixer.

Extending a simple valve design and less moving parts, we are delivering a more reliable and efficient grout pump.

At 130mm the Taipan piston diameter delivers 25% less air consumption than our leading competitor and 30% longer stroke and less valve cycles.

Alminco Taipan incorporates a built-in divorce chamber ensuring no grout enters the air motor, promoting a quick, efficient overhaul and clean out.

At 550psi pumping pressure, thicker grouts represent less of a problem and 60lpm flow with water means up to 30% greater flow than competitor product.

Check out the Alminco Taipan on our stand and take advantage of great exhibition- only pricing by pre-ordering off the stand.
