MIM has appointed Brian MacDonald to the position of executive general manager with responsibility for coal operations. Group executive operations, Vince Gaucci said the appointment acknowledges the increased importance of the group's expanded coal operations.
Gaucci said MacDonald had a good knowledge of MIM operations through his previous role with Thiess Contractors.
American-based Longwall Associates, a supplier of longwall mining equipment, announced that Ken Dunn had joined the sales team. Dunn previously worked for Joy Mining Machinery.
