Fluke increases its portfolio

ELECTRONIC test tool manufacturer Fluke has introduced the Fluke 190-504 Series II 500 megahertz ...

Sadie Davidson

Fluke claims it is the first portable oscilloscope to achieve a 500 MHz at 5Gs per second real time sample rate.

The Fluke 190-504 is designed for use by professional electronic trouble-shooters working on medical, communications, navigation and military devices.

Fluke say the fast sample rate and four-channels provide greater accuracy and clarity of shape and amplitude of unknown waveform phenomena like transients, induced noise and ringing or reflections.

The 190 Series II safety rating, according to IEC 61010 standard, is 1000 V CAT III/ 600 V CAT IV making it possible to safely measure from 500 megavolts to 1000 volts.

The scope captures and display unknown waveform shapes, amplitudes and any disturbances.
