The conference to be held November 27-28, 2003 is entitled Maximising Productivity, Profitability & Investment Potential.

Post conference workshop, "The Longwall Strata Control Workshop," to be lead by Nick Wills, is set for November 29. This will be followed by "Technical Overview & Implementation of Cutting Methods in Different Environments," lead by Chris Wilkinson and Andy Rutherford.

Bill Stewart, maintenance manager of US longwall mine Enlow Fork, is providing a Case study on the mine's performance and looking at elimination of downtime in conveyors. Stewart is covering an additional session on rapid longwall changeouts at the Enlow Fork mine, on Day Two, replacing Wade Cathagie.

A conference dinner and wine tasting will be held on November 27.
