JDT, which is based in Schwerte, Germany, had nearly 200 years of tradition and experience with modern facilities and continued intensive development of new products, technologies and materials, Longwall Chain Australia’s David Condor said.

JDT’s highly optimised material and F-class Chain had greater resistance to dynamic stress, greater resistance to corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, higher wear resistance and higher fatigue strength, he said.

“We are focusing on chain management,” Condor said.

“We offer to give the industry the best possible advice on chain selection, material grade and engineering capability on chain maintenance. We are committed to maintaining inventory and spares of chain and connectors to suit various AFC and BSL conveyors running in Australia.

“We also supply Longwall Associates’ drive sprockets that are manufactured in the USA. Along with the sprockets we aim to offer the complete conveyor chain system.”
