The WJU National Technology Transfer Center will be replaced by the Sheraton Salt Lake City and the conference will be held on July 20–22.
It will once again be sponsored by the US Mine Safety and Health Administration and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and the State of Utah and Utah Labor Commission will also be backers for the event.
Details of the agenda are not yet finalised, but it is set to include both speaker panels and vendor exhibits, as in past years. The western US regional issue of mine bounces and bumps will be among the topics addressed in the technical sessions, organisers confirmed.
The National Technology Transfer Center is coordinating registration which is required for attendance and may be completed online.
