From August 1, subscribers to International Longwall News (ILN) were able to gain free access to a new daily mining news service on the internet -MiningNews.net. This dynamic new service covers a range of subjects related to the mining industry, from breaking news and technical developments to analyses of industry issues. Coal information continues to be predominantly carried on ILN, which retains a strong focus on the local and international longwall mining scene.
MiningNews.net has been launched by Aspermont Ltd, publisher of Australia's leading mining magazine, Australia's Mining Monthly. Aspermont also publishes the bi-annual magazine Australia's Longwalls and ILN.
The service became available at www.miningnews.net from August 1. All ILN subscribers will be emailed details regarding gaining access with passwords. Any queries should be directed to contact@miningnews.net.
