Leading technology companies Mincom, ComLabs Systems and Exedra offer MineMarket, which Anglo’s South African coal operations and its marketing arm based in London will use to manage logistics, sales and communications.
The Mincom MineMarket solution consists of MineTrak V3 (production, stockpile management and logistics) and CCLAS (quality, laboratory information management) from Comlabs Systems and ARAMIS (sales and marketing) from Exedra South America. MineMarket integrates with Mincom’s Ellipse ERP software.
Anglo will use MineTrak V3 to track product quantity and qualities from the Goedehoop, Bank, Kleinkopje, Greenside and Landau collieries to the Richards Bay Coal Terminal and subsequent ship loading to ensure update of customer contracts. MineMarket Sales (ARAMIS) will be used for contract administration, invoicing and customer management.
Data between partner products will be via the Comlabs Integration Hub. This ensures data integrity and real time updates between systems located in Johannesburg and London. The Task Manager tools developed by Comlabs as part of MineTrak V3 will manage data from the Anglo Coal Central Laboratory, and other external data sources.
