Organisers said those attending the expo could expect to see the largest range of products, solutions and technologies, with a focus on new trends.
“The mining and energy sectors are by their nature areas of great innovation. At this year’s trade event in the Hunter Valley we can expect to see a number of companies showcasing new technologies and discussing emerging trends for these industries,” said John Gorton, group manager, industrial, Reed Exhibitions, the event’s organiser.
“Professionals working in the areas of mining, engineering and power generation will find Mining & Energy an important source of information. Those working in procurement for the major mines and energy sites in the Valley will have a unique opportunity to access a vast range of suppliers in the one location and assess the various options on offer,” he said.
Meet the Buyer, a program that introduces individual suppliers to buyers, will occur for the first time, a format that has been previously embraced by major mines at leading industry events such as Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition and the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition
“There are constant developments in the Hunter Valley and the Mining & Energy Exhibition supports this growth,” Gorton said.
